Let’s look at working in the Planado mobile app: logging in, viewing job details, departure to the job, starting the job, and completing it.

This instruction is available in video format.

Logging in to the mobile app

Open the Planado app. Enter your email address and password.

To log in to the mobile app, you must be granted this permission. More details about rights and licenses are described in the instructions.

Job Information

On the main screen, you will see a list of jobs assigned to you. By default, only today’s jobs are displayed. The bottom panel contains a filter to view jobs by day. The instructions for the job list in the mobile app describe filters in more detail.

Select a job and open it.

A job contains the necessary information to complete it:

  • Job template — the type of work to be carried out.

  • Job number — the serial number of the job, useful if you need to pass job details to the dispatcher or another worker.

  • Job address — can be opened in a navigation app, such as A Maps or Google Maps.

  • Job contacts — the client’s phone number; tap it to copy it into your phone’s calling app.

  • Job status — the current status of the job.

Performing a Job

If you are heading to the client, tap the En route button. The dispatcher will see in the schedule that the job status has changed. This allows tracking of travel time and distance covered.

After arriving at the job site and before starting work, tap the Start button. The status of the job will change to Started, and you will be able to fill out the job report.

On the Report tab, fill in the required fields.

More about filling out the report is described in the instructions.

On the Services tab, add the services provided and materials used.

More about working with services is described in the instructions.

Now you can complete the job. To do this, tap the Finish button.

When finishing a job, you can choose one of the available resolutions: successful or unsuccessful. A resolution explains why the job was completed successfully or unsuccessfully — for example, unsuccessful due to a lack of time or because the client was late. More details about resolutions are described in the knowledge base.

You can view a completed job in the list by pulling the screen down.
